The
Booltiagh site has a mean site elevation
of 170 m and an average wind speed of 8.5metres/second. It lies
approximately 15 km west of the Ennis in County Clare, mid way between
the villages of Kilmalley and Kilmihil.
The area is used extensively for commercial forestry and much of
the turbines are sited in areas of young trees. |

under an Alternative Energy Requirement VI power contract.
